What is building science?
- A unique mix of physics, materials science, meteorology, construction technology, architectural and engineering designs.
- Part of the building, above or below grade that physically separates the interior environment from the exterior environment.
Building enclosure science
- The application of "Building Science" specifically to performance attributes of the building enclosure. Focus is on Heat, Air and Moisture transport across the building enclosure. Building enclosure verses the building envelope.
